Opening a LTD company
Opening your own company (being selfemployed) can be very rewarding. The following section explains how you might go about setting up a Limited company.
How do I open a LTD company?
This can be a challenging process, and consulting an accountant before you establish a company is highly recommended. Before your business can
begin operating as a limited company, it has to be registered with the Registrar of Companies at Companies House.
Incorporation is the process by which a new or existing business is formed as a company. Companies House will charge you a small fee to register your company. You will also need to pay Corporation Tax. Companies House will automatically pass on your details to HMRC so that tax arrangements can be made.
